Complete and submit an SEI Application online.
Follow the instructions once finished with the application and pay the $150 USD application fee online.
Email WAnet the following documents:
- A picture of yourself
- A copy of your passport.
We will contact you to setup a short interview with a WAnet staff member. No preparation is required for the interview. Just relax, be confident, and be yourself!
After you receive a letter of acceptance into SEI and official invitation letter, complete and return the enrollment contract and pay the Summer English Institute (SEI) fee. International wiring information will be given to you on your enrollment contract. WAnet admission counselors will help you through the process if you have any questions.
Schedule a visa appointment with your local United States Consulate and obtain your B-2 visitor visa. Submit a copy of your visa to WAnet once you have obtained your visa. Contact WAnet if there are any questions regarding obtaining a visa.
Purchase your airplane tickets to arrive into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on July 14, 2017 between 6 AM and 8 PM for the start of the Summer English Institute (SEI). Travel information must be submitted no later than May 31, 2017. A fine of $250 will be assessed for travel information submitted after that date. WAnet staff will be at the airport to welcome you, pick you up, and take you to the SEI campus.
Fly to Los Angeles to begin Summer English Institute on July 14, 2017. The first two days of SEI are social and orientation time designed to be flexible to meet the travel needs of students. Make sure to arrive on July 14 only. Students arriving before the 14th or after the 14th will be charged an extra $250 USD per day fee to cover extra transportation and supervision costs.
After three weeks of English classes and one amazing travel week, the student will say goodbye to friends and SEI staff members and fly back home out of San Francisco on August 7. WAnet staff members will make sure each student knows their travel plan, take them to the airport and make sure each student knows where he or she is going. For those continuing on the East Coast Travel week, they will fly out of New York – JFK Airport on August 11.
